Christmas time is finally here, and so are the millions of Holiday decorations at every store, all the Holiday drinks at Starbucks, and festive tunes playing on every radio station. And YES, we love it!! Don’t you?!

This year, don’t overwhelm yourself with those 14 strands of garland you bought for your mantle, or the multiple snow globe collections you’ve acquired over the years. Simple Holiday decor is the way to go! Let us help you get started.

Front Porch Poinsettias

Add some color to your porch with poinsettias, everyones favorite Christmas-time flower. Get a little fancier, and wrap fake gifts to place around the potted flowers. Add a wreath to your front door, and you have a beautiful porch ready to welcome any guest.

Mantle Piece

two strands of garland, stocking holders, and a couple candle sticks…that is all you need! Allow the garland to hang off the edge on either side, place two to three candle sticks of varying sizes on both ends of the mantle, place those stocking holders on the ledge, and hang your stockings to finish the look! (Stockings can be hung however you prefer- all to one side, spread evenly across the mantle, or split evenly on both sides. Have fun with it!)

Wreaths and Lights

Go buy those beautiful wreaths you’ve always dreamed of having, wrap them in simple warm white Christmas lights, and hang them on the prominent windows in the front of your home. At night time, these will bring warmth and Holiday cheer to your house. They even look beautiful during the day time!

Set up a Centerpiece

Grab those glass vases you own but never know what to do with! Find some round ornaments, pinecones, fake snow.. anything small that will fit, and arrange these items inside the vase to create a cute and simple centerpiece for your kitchen table.

Pillows

Swap out those every day pillows with some more festive pillows to bring the Holiday spirit into your family and living rooms. A red plaid pillow, a pillow with a tree on it, even fun quotes like, “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” look great on a pillow. Check out your local Home Goods or Target for some pillow inspiration!

Mini Christmas Trees

You know those ever so popular little trees of varying sizes that everyone wants this year. They sell these everywhere, and they are very affordable! Place three trees together of different sizes, add some string lights throughout them, and put them on a tray. You can place this display on your front entry table, your dining table, your coffee table..any sort of table or flat surface really!

Hopefully these small tips have sparked some inspiration and you are ready to tackle your Holiday decorating, the simple way!
