2016 Sherwin-Williams Paint Colors

As what’s going on in the world changes, so do the colors. The 2016 Sherwin-Williams paint colors are here, 4 palettes each rendering its own message.

If you’ve been searching for some tranquil colors to nurture your spiritual side, you might be interested in the 2016 Sherwin-Williams paint colors in the Pure Vida  (Spanish for “Dearly Loved”) palette. We’re in revival mode having just come out of the recession. Warmer grays, khakis, and blushed neutrals are what we need.

Ancient Marble, SW6162, is one of our favorites for creating a relaxing mood in bedrooms. Those of you who prefer all white throughout your home, may be interested in a cool white called Alabaster, SW7008.

Our next palette of 2016 Sherwin-Williams paint colors has a fun name Mas Amor Por Favor. (Portuguese for “More love, please”) Social engagement drives these hues. We’re connected to the Internet, through intimate gatherings, and outdoor weddings.  We are seeing Boomerang children, those in their 20’s, returning home to live with their parents because of college debt and lack of job opportunities in their field. This collection reminds us of “flower power” with its earth-toned green and cheeky pinks. It definitely pairs modern flair with soulful vintage.

Picture a room done in Tansy Green, SW6424, with a white and black animal print rug and black-framed artwork. How about using  Charming Pink, SW 6309, in a little girl’s bedroom with an accent wall done in Juneberry,  SW6573?  Want to warm up a dark kitchen?  Consider Friendly Yellow, SW6680.

If you’re a fan of the industrial look, you ‘ll love the next group of 2016 Sherwin-Williams paint colors,  Nouveau Narrative. (Modern Story) This palette looks to the past North American manufacturing age to inspire the future. It has a rugged determination about it that’s reflected in its olive and denim, dusky wools, and shiny brass. The Nouveau Narrative palette also includes Sherwin-Williams faux finish paint color, Relic Bronze Metallic, SWF 340, not pictured here.

If you are looking for a gray-green color for your home office, consider Morris Room Grey, SW0037, for a classy, rich appearance. Doing a nautical-themed room? Opt for Naval, SW-6244, a beautiful, deep blue color we’ve seen featured in design magazines.

Last but not least, is the technology palette, Trajectory,  (path) another collection of the  2016 Sherwin-Williams paint colors.
