She graduated from Harrington College of Design, located in Chicago, Illinois, with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts in interior design. McCarthy has designed and staged many homes throughout Northeast Florida and regularly contributes to the community through her charity work with Ronald McDonald House of Jacksonville.
