It is finally time to get out of that winter time funk, and start decorating our homes with the bright colors of sweet Spring time! (Can I get a WooHoo?!) 

When the sun is out, the grass is green, and the flowers are blooming, it just makes sense to bring all of those colors inside your home too. We are going to talk about the best ways to brighten your space, without breaking the bank! 

Change up the couch pillows, and blankets

By adding pillows with a pop of color, whether that be a soft yellow, baby blue, lavender purple, or easter green, your home will automatically feel brighter and ready for warmer days! You can never have too many throw blankets, right? HomeGoods or Target are the perfect, cost effective stores, to purchase a fresh new throw blanket for the couch to also add some color to the room. 

Greenery and flowers are a must 

This is where you can literally bring the colors that are outside, inside. Whether you have a green thumb or love fake plants, this is a simple way to make your space feel like Spring. Gather some tulips for your coffee table, add a green wreath above a fireplace or find that perfect fiddle leaf fig tree (Shameless plug to check out your local HomeGoods for a fake tree) to help bring the room back to life after a gloomy winter look. 

Artwork that is easily interchanged 

If you have artwork that can be removed and replaced easily, changing out pieces of art a couple times a year will give your space a whole new look! Add something with those spring time pastels, or a brightly colored floral print and your space will instantly become the ultimate Spring time retreat.
